Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, has given a controversial statement regarding the Lakhimpur Kheri violence. He said that the BJP workers who were killed in the violence was a 'reaction to action'. The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha has announced Rail Roko Andolan on 18th October and Mahapanchayat on 26 October.
